Il 4 e 5 febbraio Peter Gabriel è stato protagonista di due memorabili – ma anche scandalose, per l’epoca – esibizioni sul palco dell’Ariston al 33° Festival di Sanremo.

Peter è un super-ospite, introdotto da Carlo Massarini con la sua trasmissione Mister Fantasy:

Poi Peter è protagonista in diretta delle due serate in cui si lancia sul pubblico con l’aiuto di una lunga fune, camminando sulle spalliere delle poltrone, alla fine di Shock The Monkey (acquistala qui su Amazon e aiuti Horizons Radio – leggi come e perché). 

Il problema è stato il rientro sul palco dell’improbabile Tarzan. La prima serata è andata quasi bene e ha solo travolto una cassa-spia:

Nella serata successiva, Gabriel ha invece battuto una solenne schienata contro la base del palcoscenico:

Lui e i suoi fan si ricorderanno a lungo di questa evitabile prova italiana.
