“Millenovecentosettantuno. Nel tardo pomeriggio di una giornata di dicembre apparve dal nulla una ragazzina vestita da educanda dell’Ottocento. Aveva una mazza da croquet in mano con la quale aveva appena colpito qualcosa e uno sguardo inquietante, fisso, allucinato, come fosse da poco caduta in uno stato di possessione. Ai suoi piedi, sul prato, al posto delle palline colorate, rotolavano teste umane. La sua pelle era liscia come il cartone plasticato. La ragazzina era dipinta. Dipinta sulla copertina di un disco. (…) La cover girl forse era un’assassina e il titolo dell’album lo confermava: Nursery Cryme. Un delitto, un gioco di parole e una filastrocca minavano la tranquillità dell’era vittoriana.”

The new editions will be the same quality and content as before. These replace the original top end edition which just wasn’t proving viable, and has been cancelled.
We have been in touch with people who ordered it to offer them this new edition instead.
The new hardback signed edition is £149. The new softback signed edition is £124. The only difference between the two is the binding. In total these will be limited to just 320 copies. The links below take you to each of the three editions.
The original unsigned softback remains available. If anybody wishes to upgrade from there to one of the new signed editions please contact us and we will give you details.
We are letting all our subscribers know now, before we announce this more widely, so you get first chance at the new editions. You can still have a dedication in the book but only for pre-orders.
All this has held up progress on the job, so while we will push as hard as we can, the books will now ship in the early New Year.

Wuthering Nights was filmed at the Birmingham Symphony Hall during Hackett’s recent, critically-acclaimed Genesis Revisited & Classic Hackett tour. Available as Special Edition 2DVD + 2CD Digipak, Blu-Ray, Digital album and Blu-Ray in stereo & surround sound, this is a must-have for any prog fan.

This tour marked the 40th anniversary of Wind & Wuthering, Hackett’s last album with Genesis which reached number 7 in the UK album chart. To celebrate Steve and his band played 5 of the best-loved tracks from this iconic album: Eleventh Earl Of Mar, One For The Vine, Blood On The Rooftops, In That Quiet Earth and Afterglow.

Other fan favourites from Hackett’s Genesis days were ‘revisited’: Dance On A Volcano, Inside & Out, Firth Of Fifth, The Musical Box and the classic Los Endos.
